LazyMuthaFucka

Are breaking up. Or going on temporary hiatus.

LMF is my favorite Cantonese Garage Band/Hip-Hop group.
Okay. They're the only Cantonese Garage Band/Hip Hop group I'm familiar with, but they do kick ass. Been a while since I heard anything from them so the news isn't like a big shock to me.

The last thing I heard from them; Crazy Children wasn't all that great, but the EP did come with a little robot figure, so it wasn't a total loss.

Only recently discovered their website (click on the title link above). I'll have to get their last release the next time I buy DVDs and stuff in Chinatown, NYC.

Also noticed a couple of things in their discography that I should get; like Videophile, which I guess is a video collection. A couple of their EPs came with VCDs of music videos, and they released a VCD of a live performance as well. I assume there's some newer stuff on this.

The discography doesn't mention a collaboration with Paul Wong on one of his albums which included a music video VCD.

Anyway, check them out if you use a file sharing client of some sort. I could be wrong, but I don't think the music downloading services like iTunes, or MusicMatch, are very international like the original Napster was in it's selections. iTunes does have sites in Japanese and a few other languages, but navigating them is a bit of a hassle if you don't speak those languages.
I should probably download the software first, before criticising them. More on this later...

If there's a Chinatown near you you can get their CDs there as well as at a couple of online shops if you don't. Be warned, though, that these releases are pretty short, for the most part. They clock in at around 25-30 minutes. I think there is an exception, but I don't remember what it is. I've made a CD-R, compiling the better tracks for my trip to and from work and where-ever else.
