My favorite part of this cover is Cyclops crouching in the background like, "Oh, shit! It's my ex!"
Newsarama has a few pages from X-Men #511. I don't recommend it. The pictures are pretty. Greg Land is much better than the commentators on the site give him credit for. I used to like Sojourn. The words? Not so much.

If you traced photos and other artists work for 15 years your art would look that pretty too. It's a valid criticism of plagiarism that has nothing to do with the quality, but with the ethics. With Land it's sadly been going on since the start of his career and no one is willing to make an example of him because he sells books.

I was ignorant of the controversy regarding his work. There was only a hint of it on his Wikipedia page (which I checked to make sure he was the artist I remembered on Sojourn).
Reading the link you provided and some other stuff, I see now how some people have a problem with Mr. Land.
While the tracing is a li'l dicey, I can't help but see him in the context of a talented remix artist sampling bits and pieces of pop culture to create something... ummm... well, something.
Anyway, I thought the "Greg Land Guessing Game" was hilarious;
